From professional kitchens to family bakes
My career took me through renowned hotels and restaurants, progressing from Commis Chef to Chef de Partie and then Sous Chef between 2009 and 2017.
At home, I wanted to see what I could create for my own family. I began baking cakes and macarons for my children, and their reactions became the part I enjoyed most. Seeing their excitement made me want to keep baking and trying new ideas.
How Baked by Koi began
I started sharing my creations on Instagram, giving those family bakes a little space beyond our kitchen. That grew into my own brand, Baked by Koi, in 2024.
The joy I found in baking for my children is still at the heart of it. Through this blog, I share baking ideas, inspiration and moments from my kitchen with fellow home bakers.
